I had the pleasure of working with Dr. James D. Boys, an expert on politics and grand strategy, and Senior Research Fellow at UCL’s Centre on US Politics, on refreshing his personal branding as well as redesigning his official website.


As part of this process, I crafted a new brandmark, color palette, style guide, and branded fonts for use across digital and print platforms.


This began with discovery sessions, where we reviewed his existing digital presence, discussed his likes and dislikes for colors, fonts, and layouts, and reviewed some inspiration brands and websites that James had pulled for reference.


Once that was done, I was able to craft a cohesive and professional brand identity that reflected the qualities James was looking to convey - Reliability, Transparency, and Simplicity - which are key in the field of journalism.


James was thrilled with the results, which can be seen on his new and improved official website and in the graphics below.
